| Case studies are extended testimonials on how your product or service helped someone in the real world. They are somewhere between 500 and 1500 words long, written in a journalistic style with as many quotes as possible from the actual customer. The classic format for a case study is giving problem and solution descriptions – before they purchased your product they had terrible problems, then they found your solution and life became livable again. Depending on your audience, case studies can be written at various levels of technical depth. However, whether they are considered "technical" or not, all case studies should reflect a true understanding of the technology issues involved and how those impact organizational performance. You can use case studies on websites, in direct marketing, as lead fulfillment, and as PR placements in industry and general business publications. |
